Reem Acra – Spring 2016 from InStyle.com

What a great week it has been to keep an eye on, (and swoon), over the absolutely gorgeous designs on the runways of New York City’s Bridal Fashion Week!  With so many over the top creations to consider, it will be fun to see how you might be able to use the ideas and inspiration for your bridal look in the months, and years to come!

Just to mention a few, there are more plunging necklines, and backs.  Two piece gowns, sweeping trains, separates with pants, and the jumpsuits!  I see lots of volume, made for the princess in you, in soft hues, lots of tulle and lace.  For the non-traditional  or “anti-princess”, there are the edgy, modern and graphic designs.  Let’s not forget the bohemian-romantic, and of course floral prints and floral embellishments!

But let’s all stay focused here, as it will be so hard to choose!  How excited are you for what is trending now?

I am looking forward to the new accessories, including the jeweled halos and combs.  The floral wreaths…something to keep, made from the finest of silk flowers with crystals, pearls and lots of bling.  I will certainly post some images as I see what is coming.

If you have your gown selected and have your style set, you are just about ready to consider your accessories.  Let’s look at veils and headpieces and all the pretty things that will finish your look for your upcoming wedding day!  I would love to help you do just that!  Just contact me and we can schedule a time for you.

Here’s to a beautiful fall and/or winter wedding first and foremost…then will come the spring!

Enjoy,

Angie
