How could I resist posting at least “a few” photos of this lovely couple on their most beautiful Royal wedding day!

I know by now you have seen all the beautiful photos, and news about Prince Harry and the new Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle.

Everything about the ceremony was perfect, and I hear that their Royal Celebration was to die for. I personally cannot get past how beautiful the bride looked.  Her gown, the crown/bandeau, and yes, her veil.   THAT VEIL!

Pure silk tulle, 16 feet long, with delicate hand stitched embroidery depicting 53 flowers that represent each nation of the Commonwealth.  A beautiful tribute!

The flowers included Wintersweet, that grows on the grounds of Kensington Palace and the California Poppy, the state flower of California, Meghan’s home state.

The front of the veil has crops of wheat, symbolizing love and charity.  Love it!

And of course, there is that diamond bandeau that was lent to Meghan by Queen Elizabeth.  It was made in 1932, belonging to Queen Mary.  The center brooch, which is detachable, dates from 1893, and is set with 10 diamonds.  Absolutely, the best and most fitting choice for Meghan’s modernized, and chic look.
